Outreach Ministries
Ministry is both a gift and an act that is directed toward an individual and meant to be lived out and pursued within the context of a community.
Our approach to ministry pursues a healthy balance between ministering to individuals in respect to their stage in life, and encouraging intergenerational ministry as our members engage and serve together fulfilling our vision to be a Family of Faith Being the Body of Christ in the World.
We offer a variety of opportunities for ministry and encourage every member to explore their gifts, become involved, and live out God's work in their lives as we seek to live out our mission of Transforming Lives in the Image of Christ to the Glory of God together.
Clothes Closet
This is an outreach ministry of First Baptist Church that offers free clothing and household items to those in need.
The items are donated by member and friends of First Baptist Church and are made available to the public.
The clothes closet is located in the South end of our building and faces the Esto Community Cemetery.
The Clothes closet is open on the first Saturday of each month from 9am – noon. The clothes Closet is closed during the summer months of July and August.
Those who come by are served with much needed clothing and household items, but most importantly the love of Jesus is shared with them whenever they visit.
